Five Rivers Of Pakistan:


Jhelum River

Jhelum river is tributary with Chenab River and its 774 kilometre long.
It consume very large area of land and joined with Neelam River near Muzaffarabad.
river Jhelum originates from Kashmir of south-Eastern and through srinagar before entering Pakistan.
In 1967 the storage capacity of Jhelum river was 5.9 millions acret-feet.

Sutlej River

Sutlej is 550 kilometres long, flows through northern India and Pakistan historic crossroad region of punjab, located at pakistan in East of central Sulaiman Rang.
This river alos called Red River.

Chenab River

Chenab River is 960 kilometres long. It flows through Jammu and Kashmir and at Trimmu they Joined by Jhelum River, Flood control machines near jhang and on moving further it merger with the Sutlej near UCH SHAREEF in Pakistan

Ravi River 

Ravi River is 720 kilometres long ,like many other rivers it originates from Himalayas. It merges with Chenab by flows through south-west region of Induan punjab and moves along the Indo-Pak border and enterss Pakistan. It also called River of Lahore'since the city Lahore is located at River's eastern bank.

Indus River (Sindh River)

The length of Indus River is 3180 kilometres.It is Pakistan's largest River and 21st of all over the world, originates from Himalayan.
It flows through the Jammu and Kashmir, enters the Gilgit-Baltistan region and flows through the country and merges with the Arabian sea. It fulfills the requirments of water  and main support  of agriculture .
